Our Mission

Our purpose: Keeshond Sunshine Rescue Foundation (KSRF) is dedicated to providing financial assistance for the medical expenses of purebred rescued Keeshonden in foster care. KSRF is NOT a rescue group - it does not take responsibility for fostering or placing rescue Keeshonden. KSRF exists solely to raise and distribute funds to help defray medical costs incurred by individuals or rescue groups to which a foster dog belongs.

KSRF's original mission focused on funding Keeshonden rescued from puppymills, but its scope has expanded over the years to aid dogs in foster care, regardless of origin. However, the organization retains its commitment to helping puppymill dogs.

KSRF is a Minnesota not-for-profit corporation. Under IRS code 501(c)(3), most gifts are tax-deductible; check with your tax adviser.

KSRF is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the Solicitation of Contributions under s. 496.406 (Registration # DTN3223342 CH13131)
